Thank you so much, I couldn’t have asked for a better Valentine’s Day present 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 ❤️❤️❤️Posted @withregram • @gail_lagos Actor review
For a short while, she was nurse Abigail on Clinic Matters. I think that was the first time I was introduced to the passionate act that is @amandaebeye.
I watched her intently in her rave days in nollywood. She breathed life into any character she was taking, and watching her could leave you breathless.
No, I do not mean the awwwn kind of breathless, I mean it literally. She is very energetic, it is like Uche Jombo on steroids.
That energy is so infectious that you find yourself darting your eyes as often as she does, blinking as well. When she was jumping, if you do not put a hold on yourself, you will be jumping as well.
Now, i was not always a fan of her display of sad emotions, because it seemed she had all that energetic part on lockdown, but when it was time to calm down and create an avenue for soft, sad emotions, it was hard to follow.
However, you know there are sad emotions that grip you and then there are those which come with calm. She always had the former covered.
Those soul crushing, heart wrenching, visceral-pain-causing sadness mixed in anger display, she had that in her pocket. She could whip out anger emotions of you like a pro. Girl was good.
It is the calm, tear-inciting, ehya-causing sadness that she never quite got.
She disappeared from the big screen for a while, and recently returned to our faces with It’s a crazy world on @silverbirdtv
I have watched some clips and I have noticed that she has finally found that balance between both. She can now bring out every kind of emotion from you. Laughter, sadness, anger, pain, all of it. Some major growth happened during her hiatus and for that, I am grateful.
I am glad she is back on my screen. Very glad.
This is the movie world and we can have it all
